Big Brother CCTV, Big Bother in Westminster

Farce reigns supreme in Westminster, where one tentacle of Big Brother has ruled that another tentacle is bang out of order and must turn off it's CCTV cameras because they don't meet some minor technical requirement.

What a shower! Still, it's only taxpayers' money.

help police officiers if they want to tazer and attack legitimate protesters and not have any legal bite back.

If any protestor has a camera wonder what will happen to them will they be classed terrorist.

I hope they have top grade encryption on the WiFi links - we wouldn't want the general public being able to access them now, would we? Particularly as large areas of London have been practically shut down due to the G20 summit.

Then again seeing as how the authorities regularly loose millions of data records and P.C's etc, I doubt it...

That's the best laugh I've had all day, better than Jamie Olive Oil.

Breaking News:

the Government has today announced that it has temporarily misplaced those parts of London important for accommodating the G20 summit. Several expensive but not that good hotels, thousands of miles of road and London Airport have all been left on a commuter train at Westminster tube station.

A spokesman said that " this is a terrible accident. We try our very best not to lose things. We are pleased that President O'Bama is still coming, as is Jacqui Smith incidently, although he now is bringing his own security, advisors and London Underground Map"
