"I'm a fucking sight cleverer than that fat cunt Myners!"
Seems "Sir" Fred Goodwin is not universally popular.
Someone has expressed their anger rather directly by smashing windows at his Edinburgh mansion and of a Mercedes S600 in the drive.
Do you suppose his insurance premiums will rise?

Old Fred is a bit of a card, sure.
But I tend to believe him when he says that he knew nothing of the sub-prime exposure - it was all through the US subsiduary, and probably kept well away from the board (though they must have known it was generating profit for a while, hence the huge bonuses paid out).
Fred did well to expand his pension pot, and I salute him for it.
S600 windows are cheap when you've got millions in the bank - perhaps he could persuade Dolly Draper and his friends to clean the remaining windows with their tongues?
So it begins!
I have worked in corporations where bad news was hidden from the upper echelons, only to emerge and bite them in the arse, so I can to some extent sympathise with the RBS board.
However, the culture of arrogant intolerance and pursuit of growth at all costs was down to Fred, and his board colleagues did not rein him in.
Karma . . . per chance?

Oh I hope so, to around £650,000 a year with any luck and as for sympathy by the way of him not knowing about the sub prime bollocks if true he doesn't deserve a fucking state pension let alone what he has now.
So anybody care to take a punt on which of the disgraced bankers will be next for the peoples punishment. How about Sir James Crosby the man who trashed HBOS?
Better makesure the household insurance is up to date.
From what I recall of history the London Mob was greatly feared and smashed the Duke of Wellington's windows on occasion.
We can but hope.
I tend not to believe a fucking bastard like this one, you fucking twat. Fred has only one thing on his mind - how much he can screw out of the public for himself.
Anonytwat 23.10, I think if you look into it "Sir" Fred Goodwin screwed the Royal Bank Of Scotland while it was owned by it's shareholders and before there was any public money involved.
His pension rights are very clearly outlined in the 2007 published accounts.
Do try and keep up, there's a good chap.
Fred Goodwank should be put in the stocks outside Excel for the duration of G20.
