Political World In Shock As Tony Bliar Tells A Truth

The political world was turned topsy-turvy as it emerged that Tony "Honest Chap" Bliar had told the truth to an audience at Yale University.

" Mr Blair, replying to a question after delivering a lecture at Yale University in Connecticut, said: 'It is true that we had ten years of record growth when I was prime minister.

'I have, unfortunately, come to the conclusion that it was luck.' "

That has to be yet another Nokia needed at The Bunker, where world saving Prime Mentalist Gorgon McBroon, the one-eyed son of the manse complete with moral compass (broken) was claiming the mantle of Churchill and trying to whip up a Blitz spirit to help hard working families cope with the global credit crunch ( started in America, nothing to do with me, bigger boys did it and ran away, honest!).

Meanwhile, life insurance companies are working through the New Year's holiday to try and cancel all policies on the lives of Church of England Bishops, several of whom it has been suggested should avoid walking in the woods anytime soon.

Might almost think that comment was especially designed to undermine the Prime Hooner.
