Metropolitan Police Authority Taking Lessons From NuLiebore?

"I knew nothing about all them millions in the Labour Party Bank Account, honest guv!"

Seems that the MPA have managed to lose £30 MILLION or so of taxpayers' money by re-investing in the dodgy Icelandic Banks against the wishes of their Treasurer.

This reminds me of NuLiebore, rasing millions of pounds in loans (which did not have to be declared) from well wishers who had absolutely no interest whatsoever in getting a Knighthood or a Peerage in return, without bothering to tell their Treasurer, Mr Harriet Harman.

When I worked for large or small corporations, or when I was previously auditing them, this would simply not have been possible. Even to attempt such a thing would have resulted in the sack.

I'm not holding my breath. Even if they do involve the useless Yates to investigate.

Or how about all those useless Tory councils who did exactly the same and lost taxpayers millions.

Ah, "Cuse", missing the point as always.

May I suggest you read all of the posting, not just the first line?
