Forgotten

On 11 November every year, we remember those who have died in the uniform of this country. We honour the dead with wreaths of poppies, with the Last Post and with the words of Lawrence Binyon in our ears:

"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning.
We will Remember them."

Unless, of course, you're the Home Office.

Colour Sergeant Krishnabahadur Dura, 36, of the 2nd Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles, was killed in action just four days after Remembrance Day. His sacrifice is remembered and rewarded by the Government as follows:

The Home Office are threatening to deport his wife and two children.

That is how our Government remembers those who serve this country with honour and pride.

Machiavelli and 'Looking For A Voice' are both leading on this, and I'm not surprised. Every time I think our Regime could sink no lower, they manage to plumb new depths.

I am revolted.

Please link this story and those of Machiavelli and 'Looking For A Voice'.

Thank you.

This is, not to put too fine a point on it, fucking shabby behaviour by the Home Office.

I see that Obnoxio the Clown also has a post up - hopefully this one will garner some serious attention.

The treatment by the authorities in this country of the Gurkhas has been a complete disgrace.

I am not surprised by the cunts who are in government, they act as badly as I expect them too, being cunts by nature. However, the spineless silence from the upper echelons of the Army is fucking inexcuseable!

I commented on the other blogs too.
I returned from 2 tours of Afghanistan in the last 13 months. I am lucky.
I will see my kids grow old.

Lousy shithouse bastards.
But hey tell me something we dont know.

But lets be honest how long has the Gurkha campaign been running. More years than i have lived!!!!!

Best shut up or a trip across the carpet is heading for me next week!
