Spot The Difference!

Ministers and Members Of Parliament cheat and take the piss over their expenses and allowances, and for the most part escape any real form of punishment.

A lowly civil servant posts an anonymous criticism of a thieving Cabinet Minister. And is tracked down and sacked.

Obviously different rules apply.

Different rules do apply and we see it every day. She should have known not to use her work email a/c though - it just made it easy for them to track her down.

"A DCFS spokesman said Miss Greenwood had been found guilty of gross misconduct and had brought the Government department into disrepute."

Methinks a mail-bomb campaign to DCFS seeking clarification as to whether it is possible for a disreputable Govermnment to be "brought into disrepute".

Penguin,

with all due respect, I think you're wrong on this one. Although I agree entirely with her sentiments, she should have had the nous not to use a work machine to express her opinions.

Corrupt and vindictive fucking cunts.

On what planet does this count as any kind of justice at all ?

Thieving politicians are guilty of a crime and are the only ones here who deserve to be hunted down and punished.

Apart from her using a work PC what has this woman done that is wrong ? If she has been sacked for posting an anonymous hostile message then presumably she could be sacked for anonymously voting against the Govt. Party in an election ?

Good point Joe, how can she have brought a disreputable Government into disrepute when they have already done so themselves; bit like being in contempt of court when the court itself is contemptuous.

She was a bit daft posting from her work computer. But a sacking was OTT.

Can I just point out that Hazel Blears is a cunt, and has all the grace, charm and intelligence of a pubic louse.
