I'm not a Conservative supporter, but I can remember all the abuse heaped on the Local Constituency Branch at the time and the glee the BBC exhibited over this story. It now turns out that perhaps the meme of nasty local Torys preventing Taylor from becoming their MP because they were racists, was actually so much nonsense. Perhaps they were rather better judges of character than Conservative Central Office after all. Perhaps.
He's a "wong un" from start to finish and not helped that he is a clever black. He must be made an example for the rest of the crooks in the Lords to stop thieving and fiddling.
you know, I feel so guilty and bad about all those Lordships who have suffered from the hateful prejudice of ordinary people pointing out their slothful follies. Maybe we can make amends by buying this guy's book and helping to fund a film of it, and a TV series, and a serialisation in the Sunday papers.
I'm sure it will be very heartwarming to all the black non-Lordships when this poor man makes millions upon millions by cashing in on the injustices suffered by the many.
