No Whites Need Apply
Apartheid is apparently perfectly OK if you are Bristol Council, where they are openly advertising two jobs for "Black and minority ethnic graduates".
With the blessing, naturally enough, of that paragon of the politically correct NuLiebore MP Kerry McCarthy, who ought by rights to be doing time for twitter breaches of election laws rather than getting her little nose back into the trough.

I'm not generally into hitting women but in her case I'll make an exception.....several times.
Shouldn't blacks now be demanding apartheid against whites? Well, at least in The UK.
Is this Normal For Bristol ? (NFB)
Check this out:
http://www.bristolblackcarers.org.uk/about.htm
"To be able to take advantage of our service you must be a Black Carer."
"What we mean by the term Black"
"If you are of African, African Caribbean, Asian, Chinese or Vietnamese origin then, under our Projects definition, you are a black person."
Is it just me ...
I'm black
I am of african origin. Many (hundreds of) thousands of years ago, but I am still of african origin.
I just have this weird skin condition whereby if you leave my genes out of the sun for generations, it goes pale.
Dear Mr Penguin, this is not an example of Apartheid this is an example of Affirmative Action. Huge difference.
It's still wrong though. Here's another example of how arse about face things are in this country.

I dare anyone here to set up a similar organisation and change the word black to white and then see how far you get...
Nigger wanted.
I think that Kerry is a cunt. I think that she should get what she deserves. What I think that is, I dare not post in a public forum.
But it's not nice. Very Not Nice.
Affirmative action is racism, under a different flag of convenience.
If I lived anywhere near Bristol, I'd apply for the job while dressed in blackface. If they said ANYTHING derogatory about it, I'd have the paperwork for a discrimination lawsuit already in my briefcase, ready to serve on them.
I'd love to see an big, red-faced Afrikaaner apply for this job.
They're African *and* an ethnic minority in both the UK and their country of origin. All the boxes ticked.
Affirmative action is racism, under a different flag of convenience.
Apparently its 'positive action', which isn't racist by the rules. Semantic hair-splitting of the first order.
Why is she not standing as loser, sorry, leader of the Liebore party? With such talent, she could make them unelectable for decades.
As I understand it, the term "BME" includes Irish... any any other so-called "non-British White" person.
I recall asking a lady responsible for similar adverts whether they did a DNA or melanin test to establish whether "I" could qualify; and asked if she could clarify the point at which one "race" ends, and another "begins". [rolls eyes].
It's totally unenforceable as a recruitment policy... it would be:
a. specifically for them to turn you down on the grounds of ethnicity; and,
b. impossible to prove that you are not a "BME"... you can't prove a negative!
For a bit of fun, all you need to do is tell them you are Jewish, and ask if they'd like to look at your cock to check.
(...or Irish, and ask them if they need their drives tarmacking...)
Still, the words "race traitor" spring to mind.
N.B. The current academic consensus is that "race" is a meaningless anachronism, and "race" does not exist in any definable way (source: Oppenheim, Edwards, Davies... all Oxbridge professors).
Can I suggest that we all apply for this job at once, and state openly that we are not sure if we are "BME", but would like to apply anyway to increase the "diversity" of applicants...
a. specifically ILLEGAL for them to turn you down on the grounds of ethnicity; and,
tsk... (sticky keyboard...)

This isn't true at all, quite the reverse. What is true is that anyone who has the temerity to say so has, at that point, committed career suicide.
Is it 'cos I is black?
No, Equality Dave
