The magistrates also failed to fall for her sob-story excuse about rushing to see an injured friend.
However, it made me laugh.

Personally, if I was her, I don't think I'd wear that shade of red - it clashes horribly with her orange hair & certainly doesn't help the Ugliness Factor.
Vera lives on Crouch Hill London N8Captain Haddock. Luckily for her the night bus, N19 now comes up from Pimlico, past her house and on to the badlands of Edmonton so she will find that quite handy for getting home from Parliament.
The papers say nothing of her paying the £15.00 Victim Surcharge.

Based purely on looks, I'd strongly advise her to ensure she only ever catches the night bus .. and that she "crouches her end" in the bushes, whilst waiting for it ..
Anyway, as she's no longer an MP, there's no valid reason for her to visit Westminster .. and the Job Centre doesn't open at night (does it) ? ..

She informed them that they could impose between four and six penalty points or hand down a 28 day driving ban.
