Why Is The Cover-Up Continuing?

"The Bloke From MI5 Told Me It's A Suicide, Sergeant!"

Something really shocking and of on-going significance has to lie behind the continuing attempts by the government to whitewash the death of Dr David Kelly.

I just can't understand what it might be, unless they have proof that it was the late sainted Princess Diana's re-incarnated zombie with the assistance of the late Queen Mother that wielded the pen-knife.

Why on earth is the new administration not taking the simple route of rubbishing the Hutton Whitewash and throwing all that much deserved shit all over Teflon Tony, Bad Al, and Geoff Cunt?

Something stinks.

Nothing more than 'rank closing'. There's 100% cross-party consensus when it comes to arse-covering.

The good Doctor was part of the SA plan. The plan went very very wrong. He knew to much and was a govt liability. It was a proper down on the knees job. Anyway the WMD plan and the media was the screen to cover up the true reason of his desmise.

Indeed Mr Anon closing ranks and all parties knew they had to regardless of political persuasion.

Because they love whitewashes - think Climategate and the 3 independent enquiries that cleared Jones & Co...

One simply needs to ask why there is a 70 year embargo on the papers. This whole episode stinks more than a bag of prawns left lying in the sun for a week.

Plus,I am sure my great grandchildren will not be the slightest bit interested in all this in 2081.

I don't want to disappoint conspiracy theorists, but it is overwhelmingly likely that Dr Kelly killed himself in line with the post-mortem report. His friend Tom Mangold believes so, as does Andrew Gilligan. Dr Kelly's comment about being 'found in the woods' probably reflects a troubled conscience over the prospect of war in Iraq, which spilled over in the Gilligan interview, with a little dissembling ('sexing up' over 45 mins as opposed to 'beefing up' over nuclear) as anyone associated with the intelligence profession would do to obscure their identity and source. The prospect of being caught out over Susan Watts on Panorama may have prompted the timing of this building tragedy. I think that there was almost certainly loose surveillance of Dr Kelly at the time of his death, which is being covered up, but this is unlikely to relate directly to his death. The real scandal is the fact that Blair instructed the release of Dr Kelly's name to a Labour friendly journalist, facilitated by the Ministry of Defence, vociferously encouraged by Campbell, without any thought as to duty of care or the consequences, and whitewashed enthusiastically by Hutton. Nowadays we see anonymised injunctions thrown around like confetti for celebrities because of 'human rights' designed to be applied to the State. Where was all of this when Dr Kelly walked up Harrowdown Hill?

For some reason, this reminds me of the twin towers (or 9/11 as some insist), whose collapse exactly resembled a demolition job, but the implications of which are too awful to contemplate.

Cutting your wrists is a poor way to commit suicide anyway, and cutting one is even less effective.

As Uncle Joe put it (or was it Uncle Adolf?), 'the bigger the lie, the more it will be believed'.
