Worse, and altogether far too fucking common, one of the perpetrators was on early release from prison for stabbing someone.

But Caratacus's idea has many merits .. those who live by the sword (or gun, or knife) should die the same way ..

But then, as intimated by Just Woke Up, I have a mental separater as far as Justice and Law are concerned and so should therefore be dismissed as a reactionary old git.
I prefer a firing squad in the market square,smart uniforms ,big guns and drum rolls,yeah a bit of a show...if I was a murderer I would rather go like that than spend 20 years in a stinking prison...
