Under Sharia, he'd probably get a sentencing discount because she was a woman - I do know that there is often the option of paying blood money to avoid punishment, so he'd probably get a discount on that too.

Yeah - my in-laws were all over this a fortnight ago,and said the driver got out to look at her and then drove off. Read intot hat what you like.
Another thing they say is you find yourself sandwiched front and aft by two carloads. The carload in front is a banger that reverses into your car,and the carload behind you are the witnesses that swear you rear-ended the banger - for compo. Well, there's no cotton to weave any more, is there?
Don't know if it's true or not, but they were bang on the money with this travesty.
These are the suburban lower middle-classes and aspirational working-classes saying this stuff - not shaven-headed boot-boys looking for trouble.
