The simple use of one short word would take most of the venom out of the Smeargate Scandal, but it is beyond his comprehension or ability.
Consequently, the story will rumble on, especially as so many on the NuLiebore side have also been the victims of the Smear Machine that Gordon Brown has run both as Chancellor and as Prime Mentalist. Even his own supporters have not been immune, and there are plenty of Blairites such as Charles "Pie Stuffer" Clarke with grudges.

ReplyDeleteAs I say in a post on my (not as good as yours, Penguin!) blog, there's the use of the phrase "emails that are the subject of current discussion" in Brown's non-apology.
