Some really stupid people making a nuisance of themselves

Why have the Riot Squad not been deployed to bash the fuck out of the demonstrators disrupting traffic around Parliament and in particular Westminster Bridge. Surely these roads are part of the Queen's Highway and should be kept open for lawful traffic by our police farce?

I seem to recall protesters at demonstrations against the live shipment of animals being arrested for blocking the roads.

I believe there was a demonstration in London recently where the police respoinse was so energetic that an innocent bystander died.

What on earth could be different about this demonstration?
