According to a Parliamentary Answer, Jack Straw's department, which was created only two years ago, employs a staggering 970 personnel staff, out of a total of 3,680 officials.
Robert Blevin, of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, tells me that a private company with a similar number of staff would be expected to employ about 40 people in human resources. What on earth do they actually do?
The Penguin
If its anything like the HR department at Camden and Islington I would hazard a guess that they go on holiday a lot, gossip about their clothes, and where they are going on holiday, answer emails between 11am and 12pm and not any other time unless they hate you and they send them at 16.55 on a Friday afternoon meaning that you fume all weekend whilst they go off and have a good jolly
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the time they are in meetings deciding how many more meetings they need to hold which means that no actual work gets done so they hire ever more people in order to do the work that they should have been doing in the first place
You did ask.....

ReplyDeleteI dread to think what the real unemployment figure would be if all these useless feckers were booted out...
ReplyDeleteits what Commies do
ReplyDeleteOh no you mean I was right?
ReplyDeleteShit the whole country is going to hell in a handcart
Henry, have you been spying in my Town Hall ?
ReplyDeleteWhat do they do ?
ReplyDeletePartly, they prop up the state and its various machinery.
But mostly they enforce Political Correctness (i.e. Marxism), Dhimmitude and vote Labour.
That's about it really....
Dont forget that at any one time at least 30% of them will be off long term sick with work related stress.
